PRODUCT WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Alpha Solar (NZ) Ltd (Alpha) warrants that it will make good without charge, by repair or replacement with a reasonable equivalent product or refund the purchase price paid, at Alpha’s discretion, any defect in a product comprising part of solar hot water system supplied by it arising during the warranty period for that product, subject to the conditions below.The warranty period for each product comprising the system will be as follows.

Other Plumbing Fittings and Valves	“ 1 year

Any claim under thewarranty shall be subject to the following conditions:

1.The defect has been notified in writing to the office of Alpha or the distributor or installer of the product within the relevant warranty period.

2.The warranty period commences from the date of purchase of the product purchase.

3.Supply of proof of purchase and warranty registration on request.

4.Alpha has determined that the claim is a genuine product defect and is not caused by:
a.any work carried out on the product by someone other than an authorised installer or distributor;
b.accidental or deliberate damage caused to the product by any person or event;
c.continued operation of the product after it is known to be defective;
d.the fitting of parts or accessories to the product not supplied or approved of by Alpha ; or
e.misuse of the product or the system of which it forms part other than in accordance with the User’s Manual.

Installation
Alpha provides a separate warranty on the installation work for the system comprising the products for a period of 6 months following the installation date that the system will operate in accordance with its specifications.This warranty is subject to the installation work being carried out by an approved installer and full payment being made for such work.

This Warranty does not include:

1.The transportation cost of repaired or replacement parts.

2.Labour costs for repairs.

Alpha expressly excludes any other liability to the purchaser of its system or the products including indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit except to the extent set out in the warranty.

TRANSFERABILITY If the building in which the products have been installed is sold, the new owner receives the balance of the period between the original installation date and warranty expired date.

FREE MAINTENANCE CHECK AFTER 12 MONTHS
